For her entire life, Anne Norris has always answered the call. As a Founder and Partner at Pelorus Capital Management, Anne is called to be a seasoned voice of integrity that clients depend on. As friendly and empathetic as she is proficient and positive, clients know her to bring confidence to their retirement plans, loyalty to their dreams, and smiles to their faces. Without question, Anne’s greatest joy is answering ‘YES!’ when clients make the call to ask if they can truly retire, send their kids to college, or take their dream trip.
Beyond being a friend to all, Anne was born to be a serial entrepreneur. She previously created Optima Information Solutions to answer the call in a niche market, providing national title data products with proprietary systems and bank integrations for organizations that weren’t being serviced by larger title companies. After selling Optima to a Fortune 500 company and enjoying a brief retirement, she joined with her now current partners Joe Volz, Managing Partner and Bill Hargrove, Partner then at Merrill Lynch. They pioneered Pelorus Capital Management together upon recognizing the need to take greater control over the products, services, and advice that truly benefit clients.
Unsurprisingly, Anne’s family is packed with people who have answered the call to serve this country. She continues the legacy of her beloved, late husband Don - a Vietnam veteran - through her support of various Veterans associations. Be sure to check out Working Dogs for Warriors in Rialto, one of her favorite organizations to patronize. Anne’s daughter is also a veteran who is now the Patient Advocate at the Sacramento Veteran’s Hospital. As her grandson and his wife both actively serve in the Navy, the Norris family’s legacy of service continues to this day.
Anne calls for constant improvement in herself and others as the Orange County Group Leader for the largest U.S. cross-referral network of trusted advisors, ProVisors. She keeps active as a member of the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club. Outside that, Anne focuses on savoring the good things in life – a solid Pinot Noir, retreats to Hawaii, and BBQs with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!
